T The Buttery's Phil Mills: Your chance to wait By Henry J. Evans Jr qf you've been a part of the din- ing out scene in the Cape area you've almost certainly seen him around. But if you've never met Phil Mills, he says despite what's happened to him, you'll Still have a chance. Mills has been a waiter at The Buttery restaurant in Lewes for the past' nine years. Hundreds of people have sat at his tables as he's served that reStatirant's out- standing dishes night after night. Now Mills, 47, finds the tables turned as he's being served in a way that he didn't quite expect. In August, while serving at the restaurant, Mills suffered what he would learn later were two back- to-back heart attacks. After two days of testing, doc- tors at Christiana Medical Center in Wilmington determined that Mills needed open-heart surgery.
