Opened by Kim and Ward Ewing in the spring of 1997, the year-round restaurant, conveniently locat- ed on Route 1 in the Midway Shopping Center, is comfortable an(l inviting. Aunt Holly's is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., daily, and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. For starters, wake up with a Shoreman's break- fast, a huge platter that includes two golden-brown pancakes, two fresh eggs cooked any style, two slices of crisp bacon and one large sausage link. Old-fashioned breakfast specialties at Aunt Holly's include corned beef hash, cream chipped beef, French Toast, and sausage gravy and biscuits. For lunch and dinner, the sky's the limit for what you'll find to suit everyone's taste. Aunt Holly's features a pleasing array of choices for every appetite. A comprehensive selection of appetizers, soups, salads and sandwiches makes Aunt Holly's an out- standing luncheon choice. While items on the appetize;r side include cheese bread, onion rings and Aunt Holly's famous crab balls, salad seekers won't wantt to miss their garden- fresh chef's salad and grilled ttuna Caesar salad. Hearty appetites will also find a home with Aunt Holly's big burger, a special- blend recipe with more than a half-pound of 100 percent pure beef mixed with the house-recipe steak sauce and cooked to order. A recipe that's been used for more than 40 years, Aunt Holly's famous fried chicken has put the restaurant on the map. Chicken is available in a multitude of different size portions and may be served with all the trimmings for family dinners, i entertaining guests, office parties and picnics.
