86 - CAPE GAZETrE, Friday, December 3 - December 9, 1999 Houses of Worshi St. George Church set Christmas Dinner St. George AME Church will hold its Annual Christmas Dinner from 11:30 a.m. until they run out of food on Saturday, Dec. 4, at 317 Park Avenue, Lewes. The menu includes chicken and dumplings, $7.50; fried oyster fritters or barbecued ribs, $8.50 each, with deliveries avail- able by calling 645-5413. The dinner will benefit the Annual Women&apos;s Day, chaired by Pearl Maull. The Rev. Idola Williams, pastor, invites all to attend. Live Nativity Scene set in Sussex Providence United Methodist Church, Shortly Road, Georgetown, will hold its Second Live Nativity from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Saturday and Sun- day, Dec. 4-5, with animals, music and refreshments. Everyone is in- vited to celebrate Christmas with a trip to see the nativity. Lewes Church of Christ set musical/drama "God's Greatest Gifts," a Christmas musical and drama for the whole family, will be performed at 7:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday, Dec. 10- 11, and at 2 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 12, at Possum Hall in Georgetown. UUSD sets Festival of Light Dec. 5 The Unitarian Universalists of Southern Delaware (UUSD) will exam- ine the history and meaning of the Jewish festival of Hanukkah on Sun- day, Dec. 5. "Hanukkah celebrates the historic and miraculous reclaim- ing and rededication of Judaism's most holy shrine, the Temple in Jerusalem," said the Rev. Keith Goheen. "We will gather to consider the possibilities of reclaiming the holy places in our lives and the mira- cles that make them possible."
