I~ Ill J i!ll Cape Gazette NEWS FRIDAY, DECEMBER 3- MONDAY, DECEMBER 6, 2010 3 MILTON GETS FESTIVE FOR TOWN'S CHRISTMAS PARADE STEVEN BILLUPS PHOTOS SUSSEX COUNTY CANCER SURVIVORS FUND board member Frank Shade rides with the Survivor Train Wednesday, Dec. 1, in the Milton Christmas Parade. Sponsored by the Milton Volunteer Fire Department, 65 entries paraded in front of crowds and judges competing for top honors in their respective categories. Sussex County parade favorite Bob Miller rides his mini Model T Sen. Joe Booth, R-Georgetown, cruises the parade with the top down Union Street. down in a Corvette. Drum Major Chloe Dye leads the Cape Henlopen High School Marching Bapd as it performs for the judges. Cape Vikings Pop Warner Junior Tournament Champions are led Brown. Pee Wee Football Henlopen by their quarterback Nolan With his sousaphone lit up and wearing a Rudolph nose, Jordan Luff marches in the parade with his Sussex Tech bandmates. Leading the parade as the grand marshal is former Rep. George Carey with his wife Jeanette. A fuzzy bunny helps keep Emily Ritt warm on the Sussex Tech FFA float. Wishing all of Milton a merry Christmas, Santa closed the parade on the Milton Fire Company's 1926 American LaFrance antique fire truck.
