Evans Jr. hevans@capegazette.com AnnabeUa's Italian Restaurant and Bakery in Lewes is partici- pating in 7 Days of Giving, a pro- gram to help raise awareness about 109 homeless students in the Cape Henlopen School Dis- trict and raise funds to help them. ""Beginning Thursday, Dec. 2, and running through Wednes- day, Dec. 8, Annabella's will do- nate 1,5 percent ofgroceeds to the Cape Henlopen Homeless Pro- gram. On special nights, live enter- tainment will be featured at the restaurant. From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 4, Tim V'm Fisch- er, Delmarva's Folk Hero of 2010, will perform. On Wednesday, Dec. 8, the finale begins with a silent auction 5 to 7 p.m. At 6 p.m., an evening with Bryan Clark begins. Event admis- sion is $35. There's no charge for children under 12. Admission in- cludes a three-course meal with choice of salad, entr6e and dessert. Restaurant owner Mike Spray said Cape district homeless stu- dents are members of homeless families living in cars, pop-up campers, tents and sometimes motels if someone pays for a room. This amount nearly doubled the pounds of food donated last year, and this is the third year Beebe studertts have donated food to.the organization: The Cape Henlop~ Food Basket is a nonprofit organization, and donations - ~bene~t the residentsof the Cape Henlopen School District. The Beebe School of Nursing, based at Beebe Medical Center, is the only hospital-based; diploma, nursing program in Delaware, and is accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission.
