A Holy Eucharist with Healing service will be held at 8 and 10 a.m., Dec. 8, 15 and 22. At the 10 a.m. Dec. 15 service, the church will hold a performance of the Church School Christmas Pageant. Other special services and events include the following: 4 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 8, Third Annual Festival of Lessons and Carols for Advent; 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 22, Indoor Labyrinth Walk; Christ- mas Eve services: 5 p.m. Holy Eucharist candlelight service, 8 p.m. Holy Eucharist candlelight service preceded by carol singing at 7:30 p.m. and 11 a.m. Holy Eucharist candlelight service preceded by carol singing at 10:30 p.m.; 8 a.m, Christmas morning service; 7 to 10 p.m., Dec. 31, Annual New Year's Eve Labyrinth Walk; and 7:30 p.m., Jan. Wreath making project to follow service at UUSD The Unitarian Universalists of Southern Delaware will meet at 10:30 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 8, for services at Lewes Middle School. Fresh greens and other makings will be available for kids and adults to make them- selves wreaths. Local musicians to perform at St. George's Chapel St. George's Episcopal Chapel will host a folk mass at 9:30 a.m., Sun- day, Dec. 8. Play honoring veterans set at Lewes Presbyterian With the ongoing war on terrorism on the minds of most individuals, the Snapshots drama team of Lewes Presbyterian Church will present "Christmas Dinner and the Vet," a play written by Bunni Casey to hon- or all veterans who have served in peacetime or in any conflict overseas or stateside. The play will be presented at 7 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 15 in the church's ne w fellowship hall. The play is a comedy with a message St'forgiving others and ourselves. Dick Hires, retired from the mili- tary, Will play the trumpet. Admission is free, although donations will be accepted for the Home of the Brave in Milford. Booker Street Church to sponsor Toys-4-Joy drive Booker Street Church of God, located in Georgetown, will sponsor a Toys-4-Joy drive to help make a difference in the lives of needy chil- dren during this holiday season. Lewes Presbyterian to hold annual holiday bazaar Now that construction is complete at Lewes Presbyterian Church, the church.has scheduled its a-n'nual Christmas Bazaar from l0 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 7 in the newly renovated social hall of the church. Once again, the bazaar will be held during the annual Christmas Tour of Lewes. offered for sale will be handmade crafts, fresh greens, baked goods, beach plum jelly and almost new items. Several handmade items, such as a felt penguin family, a crocheted throw, pillows, stained glass jewelry and a whirligig will be raffled. Tickets for the raffle are $1 each or six for $5. Tours of the new construction will be offered and the sanctuary will be open and decorated for the Christmas season. Hot dogs, sodas and chips will be available for purchase. The church can be entered through the parking lot that adjoins Franklin Avenue.
