CAPE GAZETTE, Friday, Dec. 6 - Dec. 12, 2002 - 57 The City of Rehoboth Beach and Rehoboth Beach Main Street hosted the Bandstand, featuring the singing of traditional holiday songs. Hundreds en- annual Tree Lighting Ceremony Friday evening, Nov. 29, at the Rehoboth joyed the festivities, which included visits with Santa in his house. Enjoying the carols are (l-r) Allie Bollman, 6, Sarah Luigard, 2, Emma Luigard, 8, Claire Luigard, 4, Tiffany Bellmyer, 8, and Abby Bollman. 2. Bundled up warmly against the chill winds coming off the Atlantic Ocean is 20-month-old Dar- by Klopp of Rehoboth Beach who is mesmerized by the lights. Emcee Eric Petterson informs the crowd of up- coming holiday events in downtown Rehoboth Beach which is open for business during the Streetscape Improvement Project. Infused with the spirit of the holi- days, Elaine Smith of Seaford enjoys the carols with her two-year-old son Christopher. Six year olds Elizabeth Colwell, left, and Joyce Connolly of Rehoboth Beach tell Santa Claus their wishes for Christmas.
