18 FRIDAY, DECEMBER 15 - MONDAY, DECEMBER 18, 2017 NEWS Cape Gazette CHRIS FLOOD PHOTOS ELECTED OFFICIALS, ACTIVE AND RETIRED MILITARY, and school chil- dren participated in the fourth annual Wreaths Across America program Dec. 11 in Dover. Wreaths Across America seeks to remember fallen veterans, hon- or those who serve and teach the values of freedom. Similar ceremonies were held in all 50 states and at veteran cemeteries across the nation. Accordingtothethenonprofitorganization’swebsite,in2014,over700,000 wreaths were laid at 1,000 locations around the world. The official Wreaths Across America Day is Saturday, Dec. 16. Above, Gov.
