Canby Secretary PUBLIC HEARING STATEWlDE ACCESS MANAGEMENT PROGRAM ACCESS MANAGEMENT POLICY AND CLASSIFICATION MAPS The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) is announcing the date, time and location for its public hearing on the Draft Statewide Access Management Policy and Draft Classification Maps. The Draft Policy, which has been developed in accordance with Delaware Code, Title 17, Chapter 146(a), provides a.combination of regulatory and administrative actions that will help shape how and where connections are made between land developments and the transportation system. The Draft Classification Maps show how the Draft Policy will be applied to individual state-maintained roadways. The public hearing will be held on Monday, January 25, 1999 at the DelDOT Administration Building, north, south and central conference rooms. Background information will be made available to the public starting at 6 PM, a formal presentation by DelDOT staff will start at 7 PM with testimony from the public to be taken starting immediately following the presentation. Written comments on the Draft Policy and Classification maps will be taken through February 5, 1999 and may be submitted along with questions or other written material, by mail to the Office of External Affairs, DelDOT, P.O. Box 778, Dover, DE 19903 or by telephone at (800) 652-5600.
