Action Business Center grows
Action Business Center has grown with Sussex County.
When Conrad Styers began the company 18 years ago, most
of his sales were basic: 10-copies-per-minute desktop units
sold to mom-and-pop companies.
Over the years, Styers has seen the number of size of units
grow with the local economy. "We sell units that are twice as
fast and optioned out to those companies that six years ago
were happy just to have a copier," Styers said. "Of course,
the mix means that we sell more big copiers too. Consoles °
the biggest copiers - are the choice sales in the mix, and while
we've always sold one here and one there, we never had two
going out the same day. This is unique for us. We've reached
a new plateau." The copiers, the Toshiba 5560s, are outfitted
for energy-star efficiency and productivity.
Shown are (l-r) Georgetown Mayor Bob Ricker, owner of
Baker's Hardware, who stopped in to congratulate Styers on
his growing local b,siness; Randall Cash, Sussex County
sales representative; and Brian Heesh, the service manager
who also delivers the units. For more information on the
company's full line of copiers and fax machines, call 856-7381.
