CAPE GAZETTE, Friday, Jan. 19 - Jan. 25, 2001 - 63 Craft to direct Possums' 'Run For Your Wife' Jan. 27-29, Feb. 2-4 "Run For Your Wife," the British farce, will open Jan. 26 as Possum Point Players' annual din- ner theater. Becky Craft, Milford resident and accomplished actor and director, will be making her Possum directorial debut. Most often seen on the Second Street stage, Craft was Sister Mary Leo in the recent holiday special at Second Street, "Nuncrackers." She also directed the musical ver- sion of "It's a Wonderful Life," for Second Street. "I played Barbara (one of the wives) in the Second Street pro- duction of "Run For Your Wife," Craft said, "and ever since then, I've wanted to direct it. It's a fun Museum play to do. Everything from the set, to the costumes, to the blocking to the lights - work together to bring the characters to life. It's such a CRAFT weird situa- tion, you can't help but wonder if it ever happened. Great dialogue alone makes it seem so realistic." Craft called the cast of the pro- duction "top-notch" and noted that they have the talent and disci- pline necessary to pull the show off. "Steve Twilley, Bonnie Rus- an award presentation by the Ward Foundation Middle/High School Art Show, where students exhibited original bird renditions. The contest was titled "Imaginary Birds" and it was entered by 15 Maryland and Delaware schools. Over 500 students entered and 100 were chosen to exhibit.
