Rehoboth restaurants ring in the 2000 tourist season

Planet X Caf ebarks on its
sixth season one, April 14.
As always the concentration at
Planet X is on i and lo-
cal ingredients, bui this year will
be a banner year, says the restau-
rant staff, with the addition of free
range poultry, duck and an ex-
panded range of fresh, local

which Planet X is known.

The inn rooms at the Dinner
Bell Inn, located on Christian
Street in Rehoboth Beach, are now
open for the 2000 season. These
recently renovated garden view
rooms continue to be very popular,
providing a quiet oasis in the
downtown area, said Bob Moore,
owner. Improvements to the rest
of the property will begin soon, as
the original restaurant and banquet
rooms have fallen into disrepair
and will be removed and replaced

Espuma Restaurant in Rehoboth
held its grand opening April 13,
introducing a new spring.menu,
expanded wine list and entertain-
foods, Planet X will offer a totally
organic wine list, along with the
traditional list and will offer most
wines by the glass and in tasting
or 'flight' portions in collabora-
tion with the re2ent addition of a
daily menu.

be adding custom cocktails from

offered, as are organic teas.

The restaurant will feature a
number of new innovations this
season, including a series of wine
dinners featuring complimentary
wines of Spain paired with authen-
tic Spanish fare.
The Sunday brunch continues at
Espuma this year, with a compli-
mentary cocktail or beverage with
a menu offering. Also, Espuma
will be continuing its catering
