Rehoboth MainStreet elects officers
Rehoboth Beach Main Street, Inc. elected new officers and
directors during the annual meeting and party, held Wednes-
day, April 12, at Rehoboth Beach Convention Center. They in-
clude (l-r) Clinton Bunting of Penny Lane Mall, director; Fran
Grossi of Bayside Builders, Inc., vice president; Bette Gallo of
Prudential Gallo Realtors, director; Jennifer Zerby of Board-
walk Plaza Hotel, secretary; Bill Richardson of Brown, Shiels,
Chasanov, president; Kathy McGuiness of Rehoboth Beach
Pharmacy, director emeritus and acting treasurer; and Bev-
erly Cox of Cafe Sol, director.
Richardson told those gathered that Rehoboth Beach Main
Street has doubled its membership over the past year and
that the commercial sign program is well underway, with
eight businesses signing up for a discount on a new sign.
They also are in the process of raising funds for a commercial
facade program as part of the downtown revitalization proj-
ect and Richardson urged everyone to talk to their fellow
merchants about joining the organization.
Roadhouse tO support CHEER April 24
The Roadhouse Steak Joint rathe Midway Shopping Center will do-
nate 10 percent of its proceeds from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, April
24, to Sussex County Senior Services (CHEER).
CHEER is a nonprofit agency that has served Sussex County for
nearly 30 years with a variety of services geared to the senior citizen.
