Del Tech's Starry Ni [hts a sparkling backdrop to awards presentations
Shown during Del Tech's Spring Gala are (l-r) Ida Mac Ellis,
Dr. Jim Soles and Pat Campbell-White. Ellis was honored at
the event for being one of the Galas two sponsors - along
with Fulton Financial Advisors and Delaware National Bank.
She has been a supporter of the annual event for each of its
four years. Her home is adjacent to the Del Tech Owens Cam-
pus in Georgetown and part of the campus sits on property
owned previously by her family. "I think Del Tech does a
great job and I'm proud to be associated," said Ellis. Camp-
bell-White of Rehoboth Beach served as vice chairperson of
the Spring Gala. Soles is chairman of Delaware Technical
and Community College's statewide board of trustees.
Del ch President Orlando J. George Jr, center, presents
an award of appreciation to Paul Mylander, left, and David
Schoffstall recognizing the participation of Delaware Nation-
al Bank as a sponsor for the Starry, Starry Night Spring Gala
to benefit the college's Excellence Through Technology Cam-
paign. Mylander is chairman and chief executive officer of
Delaware National Bank. Sehoffstall is the new president
and chief executive officer of Fulton Financial Advisors N.A.
Both firms are owned by Fulton Financial Corporation. Lyn-
da Messick, president and chief operating officer of
Delaware National Bank, served as chairperson for the 2000
Spring Gala which was held Saturday, April 15, in the col-
lege's Student Services Center.

Carl M. Freeman Companies, developers of Sea Colony and many other associated residen-
tial projects in Sussex County, was honored at Delaware Technical and Community College's,
Owens Campus, Starry, Starry Night Spring Gala as being one of the event's underwriters.
The underwriting enabled the sold-out event to raise substantial funds for Del Tech's Excel-
lence Through Technology campaign. The Freeman Companies have worked in close part-
nership with Del Tech over the years to develop a skilled workforce fo their diverse opera-
tions.
The Gala was held in the College's new Student Services Center. Shown accepting their
award for sponsorship are a number of employees and associates of Freeman Companies.
