Sixth grade students from Milton Middle, Lewes Middle and Rehoboth Elementary Schools gathered at RES for a day of writing, reading and acting. Language Arts teachers, Diane AI- banese of Milton, Gaff Mack of RES and Evelyn Travis of Lewes, worked with Cape District representatives, Kathy Pettigout and Jane Allen Golde, to produce the event. Doug James, the acclaimed Rehoboth Beach songwriter pictured above left, was the keynote speaker. James shared his road to success and encouraged students to explore mul- tiple forms of writing - poetry, songs, fiction, research.
