Gram Crackers to
perform at Cape
Variety Show
The Gram Crackers, members
of the Cape Heniopen Senior
center and winners of the 1999
Delaware State Senior talent con-
test held at the Delaware State
Fair in Harrington, will again be
performing in this year's Cape
Henlopen Senior Center variety
show, Hooray for Hollywood.
There will be two performances,
a 2 p.m. matinee and a 7 p.m.
show, Saturday, June 10, at the
Cape Henlopen High School Lit-
tle Theater, Kings Highway,
Lewes.
Tickets, at $6 per person will be
sold at the door or may be pur-
chased in advance at the Cape
Henlopen Senior Center, 11
Christian Street, Rehoboth
Beach.
Patty Brown, producer and di-
rector ofthe Gram Crackers
dance team, will be featuring two
new dances which she has chore-
-ographed for this year's show,
complete with elaborate costumes
to be worn by the dancer which
Brown designed and made her-
self.
The Gram Crackers are devel-
oping a loyal local following and
have delighted audiences at vari-
ous community organizations
both in and outside Sussex Coun-
ty.
This year's production, Hooray
for Hollywood, under the direc-
tion of Cork Walters, promises to
outdo all previous Cape Henlopen
shows, organizers said. All partic-
ipants have spent many hours
preparing for the production and
audiences will not be disappoint-
ed.
