Church Notes
Ecumenical service set at Cape park
There will be an ecumenical morning service at Cape Heniopen State
Park at 8 a.m., Sunday, June 11, sponsored by the Lewes-Rehoboth As-
sociation of Churches. Directions will be posted at the park gate. The
host for this service will be the Lutheran Church of Our Savior and cof-
fee and donuts will follow. Campers, visitors and locals are welcome.
Mary, Mother of Peace seeks sale vendors
Mary, Mother of Peace, Catholic Church, located on Rt. 24, Oak Or-
chard, will hold its annual flea market and bake sale beginning at 8
a.m., Monday, July 3, on the church grounds. The church is accepting
vendor reservations now by calling 945-3414 or 945-6652, with the
deadline one week prior to the sale. The vendor spaces are $10 and
$15, with tables provided and vendors may begin setting up at 7 a.m.
Interfaith Mission wants to assist elderly
Interfaith Mission wants to assist elderly homeowners with any hous-
ing reparis in the Bethany, Ocean View, Millville, Clarksville, Frank-
ford, Selbyville, Fenwick and Dagsboro areas. Those in need of assis-
tance should contact their clergyman and have them call Interfaith Mis-
sion of Sussex County at 537-9773, or call them directly.
Millsboro Seventh Day Adventists set rally
The sign outside the Millsboro Seventh'Day Adventist Church off Rt.
24 reads "Road Rally 2000 - tn the Race with Jesus" to proclaim the
daily vacation Bible school and summer ministry that will be held from
6 to 8:30 p.m., daily, June 12-15. "We're racing for the crown of life
and we need all the young drivers we can find," aid church member

Lighthouse Christian Center to celebrate
Everyone is invited to join the Lighthouse Christian Center of Lewes
on Sunday, June 1 I, as they celebrate Pentecost Sunday in Milford.
This is a commemoration of the day of Pentecost spoken of in Acts of
the Bible when the spirit of God was poured out upon the followers of
Jesus, thus birthing the New Testament Church. The special guest
speaker will be Billy Cole, former missionary to Thailand and pastor of
a church in Charleston, W.Va. Services will be at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m., at
LCC of Milford, a half mile west of Rt. 113 on Rt. 14. For details, call

Spiritual transformation topic on June 9
Swami Shakarananda, ministor of The Divine Life Church in Balti-
more, will speak on Spiritual Transformation in the New Millennium at
8 p.m., Friday, June 9, as part of the New Realities Seminars in Re-
hoboth Beach. The swammi is an uplifting speaker on spirituality and a
unniversalist, and those from any religious tradition will find his mes-

Labyrinth Walk set June 18 in Lewes
St. Peter's Labyrinth is available for walking on the third Sunday of
each month for meditation and contemplative prayer at St. Peter's
