Jo Condrill, author of 101 Ways
to Improve Your Communication
Skills Instantly; A Millennium
Primer: Take Charge of Your Life;
and Leadership: From Vision to
Victory in Six Powerful Steps,
will conduct a seminar from 10
a.m. to noon, Saturday, June 10, at
Delaware State University, Dover.
Her topic will be 101 Ways to Im-
prove Your Communication
Skills. Her book on the same topic
has been translated into Spanish
and licensed for publication in In-
dia, Turkey, Taiwan and Singa-
pore. Copies of the book will be
available for purchase and author
signing at the seminar.
Condrill has been a civilian
leader for the U.S. Army in the
Pentagon, and was awarded the
Decoration for Exceptional Civil-
ian Service. In her volunteer
work, she led a 3,000-person or-
ganization, Toastmasters, in
Washington, D.C. to a number
one world ranking. She later
served on the Toastmasters Inter-
national board of directors.
Condrill will share her personal,
real-life success steps. She earned
an undergraduate degree from
Our Lady of the Lake University
in San Antonio, Texas, and a mas-
ters degree in public administra-
tion from Central Michigan Uni-
versity. She is also a graduate of
the U.S. Army War College. Cur-
rently, she is the sole proprietor of
Goal Minds, a
speaking/training/consulting or-
ganization located in Beverly
Hills, Calif.
The seminar is sponsored by
