• The Big Kahuna: Larry and
Phil (Kevin Spacey and Danny
De Vito) are fast-talking salesmen
desperate to land the big client at
a posh reception. While it is near-
ly impossible to focus on their
prey since none of the business-
men are wearing nametags, the
pair discover rookie salesman
Bob unwittingly chatting it up
with the mystery client. A clever
caper ensues when Larry and Phil
make Bob the sacrificial pawn in
their quest. Rated R.
• Gone in 60 Seconds: A pro-
fessional car thief retires when the
heat becomes too intense. Years
later, he's dragged back into his
old profession in order to save his
little brother from the long arm of

Acrobatic Imperial Chan comes
to the U.S. in order to rescue a
Chinese princess, only to find
week of June 19 and end the week
of Aug. 4, meet from 11:30 a.m. to
1 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The cost is $40 for members and
$50 for nonmembers.
Children ages 9 to 12 are invit-
ed to participate in Drawing on
the Right Side of the Brain. In-
structor Grace Kennedy will help
children further develop their
drawing skills using techniques
himself teamed with a partner he
doesn't trust and a horse he can't

• Gladiator: Joaquin Phoenix
suits up for this tale set in the final
days of Marcus Aurelius' reign.
The son of the aging emperor, he
kills his father and sets in motion
a story of confrontation and in-
trigue. Directed by Ridley Scott,
the film features intense graphic
combat. Rated R.
• Where the Heart Is: Based
on the bestselling novel by Billie
Letts, Where the Heart Is focuses
on the life and times of Novalee
Nation, who at 17 finds herself
delivering her baby on the bath-
room floor of a Wal-Mart in Okla-
homa. What ensues is a heart-
warming story about family,
friends and the life of a strong,
successful woman. Stars Natalie
Portman, Sally Field, Stockard
Channing, Joan Cusack and Ash-
ley Judd.
• U-571: Armed with a vintage
World War I submarine, Lt. Com-
mander Mike Dahlgren leads his
developed by Dr. Betty Edwards.
Classes will meet from 9:30 a.m.
to noon, Saturday through Tues-
day, Aug. 5-8. The cost of the
class is $185 for members and
$195 for nonmembers. A material
fee of $25 is payable to the in-

Arden Shakespeare Guild to stage As You Like It
The Arden Shakespeare Guild will present William Shakespeare's
comedy As You Like It at 7:30 p.m., June 16, 17, 21-24, and at 2 p.m.,
Sunday, June 18, outdoors at the Frank Stephens Memorial Theater on
the Arden Green. The theater is located just off Harvey Road in north
Wilmington. Admission is $8 for adults and $3 for kids 12 and under.
The play is a special centennial production to honor the 100th birth-
flay of the Village of Arden. To highlight the celebration, the Guild is
setting the play in the year 1900 and moving the story to its own Arden
