WATERFRONT AUCTION! Angle Moon photo Lambjam makes way to Rehoboth John Poggi of Greenwood carries a cross to the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand in honor of Jesus Christ during Lambjam this past Saturday. The event attracted thousands of people to two concerts and other events. Lambjam was moved to Re- hoboth Convention Center after inclement weather caused cancellation of the 1996 outdoor event set near Milton. Training for Project Angel Tree will help children of prisoners Training for local churches, or- ganizations or individuals who are participating, or who are interest- ed in participating in Project An- gel Tree '97, has been set for Sat- urday, Sept. 27, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Peniel United Methodist Church, located at 115 E. Market Street in Newport. Project Angel Tree is a Christmas project to as- sist the children of men and women in prison in Delaware and Cecil County, Md. Local church- es, organizations and individuals provide a way to purchase the gifts requested by the children, the forgotten victims of crime, in the name of the incarcerated parent(s). Angel Tree volunteers make sure the children receive the gifts from their morn or dad by Christmas. For information, call Laird at 302-478-1208. The infor- marion session will take place in Fellowship Hall, first floor level. There is parking available behind the church.
